YND Electric arc furnace delivery
ANYANG YND’s independently developed first 20-ton-class solid waste treatment DC arc furnace departed from the company’s smart manufacturing base, bound for an industrial solid waste comprehensive disposal industrial park in Guangxi. The delivery of this equipment marks a key breakthrough in China’s high-difficulty solid waste resource recovery processing equipment sector, providing new solutions for “difficult-to-treat” wastes such as industrial solid waste and bulky garbage.
Reportedly, this DC arc furnace features significant energy savings, high arc temperatures, and continuous operation without shutdown. With a daily solid waste processing capacity of 50 tons, it reduces energy consumption by 30% compared to traditional incineration equipment, achieves a solid waste reduction rate exceeding 92%, and simultaneously recovers recyclable resources like scrap metal and vitrified slag. Metal recovery rates exceed 95%, while slag can be processed into new building material aggregates, truly turning waste into treasure. . The equipment also incorporates intelligent temperature control and flue gas purification systems, with emission indicators far below national standards, aligning with the requirements for “dual carbon” and “zero-waste city” development.
“To address the complex composition of solid waste at client sites, we customized optimizations in electrode structure and melt pool design,” stated the company’s technical lead. “This enables mixed processing of diverse waste streams including industrial sludge, plastic waste, and bulky furniture.” Upon deployment, the equipment is projected to reduce annual landfill volumes by 18,000 tons, establishing an integrated demonstration model for regional solid waste management that achieves “reduction, resource recovery, and harmlessness.”
